Now, it is a fractured realm where only the cunning and resilient can survive. Its people live in scattered enclaves, haunted by the horrors that stalk the land and the echoes of their former glory.

Key Locations

• The Hollow Refuge: A hidden sanctuary for Valoryn’s survivors, located deep within the Wailing Woods. It is fortified with wards to repel shadow creatures.

• The Obsidian Vault: An ancient repository of forbidden knowledge, heavily guarded and corrupted by the Shroudfall’s lingering magic.

• The Shattered Gate: A massive, ruined portal believed to be linked to the catastrophe that befell Valoryn. It remains a focal point for shadow activity.

• The Mourning Caves: A labyrinthine network of tunnels filled with echoes of the past and dangerous shadow beasts.

  • Role: Shadow Hunter

  • Description: A grim and relentless warrior dedicated to purging the shadow’s influence. Kaelen wields a cursed blade that feeds on the essence of shadow creatures.

  • Quests: Join Kaelen in hunting a particularly dangerous shadow beast or help him resist the curse that threatens to consume him.

• Vorith the Forgotten

  • Role: Ancient Guardian

  • Description: A once-noble spirit bound to the ruins of the Onyx Citadel, Vorith has grown bitter and malevolent over centuries of solitude.
