I. Genesis Arc

Infinite Night

Before existence, there was the Void Titan, an unfathomable being larger than the universe itself, embodying infinite stillness and emptiness. For countless eons, it drifted silently, content in its solitude, until a fragment of curiosity stirred within its boundless form.

From its own essence, the Void Titan created the Dark Titan, a child born of ambition and tangible matter. The Dark Titan was a contradiction to its father—a being of movement, growth, and insatiable hunger for creation. As the Dark Titan grew, so did its ambition. It expanded endlessly by a desire to surpass its creator. When its size rivaled that of the Void Titan, tension arose. The Void Titan, frustrated by its child’s unchecked hunger and defiance, sought to contain it. The father and son clashed in a catastrophic clash known as The Anguish.

The Anguish tore apart the fabric of the void, birthing the visible universe. Celestial objects were forged in the fires of their battle. Stars ignited from the Dark Titan’s strikes, and black holes churned from the Void Titan’s consuming wrath. Their clash reshaped the nothingness into a cosmos teeming with possibility.

In their final clash, the Titans annihilated each other, their essences scattered across the universe. From the cold detachment of the father and son came Marael, the Celestial God, a being of balance and purpose.

Born amidst the wreckage of The Anguish, Marael was alone in the vastness of the universe. For millennia, he wandered the expanse of creation, observing the scattered remnants of his makers' destruction. He was compelled to bring structure to chaos, crafting the foundations of existence where disorder lingered. Marael shaped the laws of the universe, stabilizing the celestial bodies formed in the wake of the Titans’ clash.

Despite his work, Marael felt no fulfillment. His travels through the cosmos were unending, and the silence of the void weighed upon him. He sought meaning, an answer to his existence, but the universe remained a puzzle he could not solve.

In the farthest reaches of the cosmos, a radiant energy pulsed faintly amidst the stars. Drawn to its brilliance, Marael journeyed toward the light. What he found astonished him—a world teeming with vibrant life. Lush landscapes stretched as far as the eye could see, filled with creatures and forms of existence he had never encountered.

At the center of this splendor lay the source of the energy: Anias, the Eternal Light. She existed in a state of deep, unbroken slumber. Born from the sorrow and guilt of the Titans’ annihilation—known as the Echoes of Regret—Anias radiated a life-giving energy that shaped the flourishing world around her. Her presence was serene and powerful, an unconscious beacon of creation.

Anias’s energy nurtured life without intention. She was unaware of the beauty she inspired, her slumber untouched by the chaos or order of the universe. Yet, her existence was a force of nature, unusual in its ability to create and sustain.

Marael stood before Anias, charmed by her radiance. For the first time, he felt something beyond purpose—a desire to protect, to understand, and to connect. Her presence awakened a part of him he had not known existed, a warmth that melted the cold detachment of his being.

He touched her, and the universe trembled.

Anias’s eyes opened for the first time, their light illuminating the cosmos. She stared upon Marael, seeing not just a god but a presence both commanding and gentle. In that moment, a bond formed between them. It was not immediate understanding nor clarity, but something deeper—a connection that would grow into something the universe had never known: love.

Their meeting marked the beginning of a new chapter in existence. Together, Marael and Anias would shape the cosmos, bringing balance and vitality to the universe. Yet, the echoes of the Titans' clash lingered, their legacy imprinted upon the fabric of reality, shaping the destiny of all who followed.
